The home was an old craftsman style that suffered from a series of bad remodels. The house’s studs were exposed when the client’s fell in love with it. The 1200 square foot plan required optimizing every nook and cranny. In reframing the roof a small loft was designed to provide an office and hide away area. The basement floor was originally dirt and short in height. The basement was dug deeper and a slab poured to reinforce the structure. This allowed the laundry area to be downstairs which freed up valuable space. The remaining extra space downstairs gave the clients an entertainment/ exercise room perfect for their dedicated cyclists |
